The many issues of selling online

With the new site there is a possibility and also a goal to use the built-in system to handle registrations to events. However, with selling tickets (and not products) and selling in multiple currencies (being truly international) its definitely not something you fix in 5 minutes. I’ve decided to go with my existing account at Regonline to continue handle registration which has worked fine for the past 2 years until further notice.

Even though we’ve not officially opened up for registration to IMC’s events popular requests have made it so that we’ve already sold tickets. ITs always the case that you can email us with specific requests if you don’t see it yet available on the website.

Great to have lots of speakers to choose from. I’m going to do a workshop on the 17th and then we’re having a full blown conference day under the leadership of Stéphane Hamel. Really looking forward to Montreal again .

Great exciting news. Stéphane Hamel of Immeria.Net will be our Conference Chair on the 18th of February at IMC Montreal. Stéphane is a recognized leader in the Web Analytics field and will besides being a Conference Chair also host his own session on Web Analytics.

Going from big to little

In 2009 I focused efforts on remodeling the business, understanding where IMC is heading and understanding my own driving force, what do I want to do?

Fortunately, the big questions have been resolved and now I’m looking forward towards focusing on details in 2010. And as the saying goes – the devil is in the details – so if you feel me behaving like a devil, now you know why .
